Krissy had a rough start to life. She was cross-wise at
the head of the birth canal necessitating a caesarian. Her brother, D.J.,
came out screaming while Krissy was not breathing. We had to work on her
a little while to get her to take a breath. She has not stopped making
noise since that time :-). She loves to play - especially ball and
"dumbbell". She has a squeaky dumbbell that she will retrieve as many
times as you throw it. She has been our "challenge" boxer - she is smart -
sometimes too smart for her own good.
We enjoy her antics and love her dearly.
Sadly we had to let her go on August 24,
2010. DM had taken its toll on her. We travelled to the University
of Missouri to donate her spine in hopes of helping Dr. Joan Coates find a way
to eliminate DM. Krissy is now at the Rainbow Bridge playing ball -
something she hasn't been able to do in quite a while. She will always be
in our hearts.
