My heart is broken.  I received a call from Sandy on Friday, May 22, 2009 that DJ had some sort of episode a couple of days before.  Many tests were run and they found nothing wrong.  Sandy still didn't feel like he was his old self.  She called me on Saturday morning, May 23, to let me know she had taken him to the vet on "intuition" and he had an episode in the waiting room.  They took him back and after several tests and an ultrasound found he had a growth on his kidney.  He died during surgery - the tumor was very involved and large.

Rest in peace - DJ.

D.J. is Krissy's litter brother and he has a wonderful home with Sandy & Michael Backes.  I get letters from D.J. and his "mom" all the time along with pictures depicting his antics.
