Desiree was out of Marlo's first litter.  Although I knew nothing traumatic had happened to her, she seemed to be afraid of new places and new situations.  Once she settled in, she was OK.  When we went to shows, we had to go early to acclimate her to the building.  She showed well once she settled down but we decided that we would spay her and place her.  A family in Iowa was looking for a boxer - they had three young boys.  They eventually placed her with another family who kept in touch with me.

I believe that she succumbed to degenerative myelopathy based on what they told me her symptoms were.
